As a Presales Engineer, you will Lead technical presale activities for innovative and complex solutions in Web intelligence domains in India & APAC Region. Reporting to APAC Pre-Sales head, you will be responsible for presale activities, including RFP/RFI response cycle throughout the requirement mapping, high-level solution design, system sizing, budget analysis & Proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the Cobwebs message and vision including technical architecture presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers and partners
  • Conduct remote calls and face-to-face meetings to discuss prospective business and technical fit with Cobwebs software products
  • Lead and author complex technical responses, including RFPs/RFIs, from the requirement level, throughout solution design, system sizing and commercial discussions. Provide accurate and cost-effective configuration documents to address specific customer needs. Review final proposals to ensure accuracy of product functionality statements;
  • Establish relationships as a trusted technical adviser with customers, prospective customers, partners, and potential partners
  • Provide technical guidance and support of sales efforts to drive team-based selling with aligned account executives
  • Guide prospective customers through installation of proof of concept solutions, working with customers and the account executive to ensure that the customer purchases the software following the POC
  • Working with regional Sales Managers to drive partner onboarding and enablement in the region to develop strong and deep strategic relationships with Value-Added Resellers, Managed Services Providers (MSPs), and other partners.

Role

Seeking a highly motivated individual for a Software Support Engineer position. This role will provide remote post-sales software technical support for resolving Cobwebs’ mission-critical customer technical problems in a timely and effective manner.

If you have already graduated or are soon to be graduating with a degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or something similar, then you are already halfway there! We do need applicants to have some understanding of the tools we use and be comfortable with Windows server operating systems, experience with web and application server i.e. Apache/Tomcat troubleshooting, and some shell scripting skills.

Responsibilities

 

  • Direct interaction with Cobwebs customers, helping them identify and resolve technical issues with Cobwebs
  • Create concise problem definitions for all tickets about the configuration and administration of Cobwebs products, reporting bugs when encountered.
  • Develop customer-facing support documentation, when appropriate, to summarize common support issues.
  • Collaborate with global Support and Engineering teams to identify root cause and solutions.
  • Provide products service, maintenance, basic troubleshooting and upgrades for Cobweb’s customers if required;
  • Create, manage and contribute to technical support guides and supporting troubleshooting documentation as needed;
  • Provide technical product training for customers of partners as needed;
